Jose Auriemo Neto is the chairman and CEO of Brazilian real estate conglomerate JHSF Participacoes SA. The company has worldwide interests in hotels, office buildings and developments in the public sector. The company also is the administrative arm in various holdings in the retail shopping arena. These retail operations include the Bela Vista in Salvador, the Ponta Negra shopping centre in Manaus, the Metro Tucuriv, and the very prominent and well-known Cidade Jardim Shopping extravaganza in Sao Paulo.
Mr. Auriemo Neto attended the Fundacao Armando Alvares Penteado University in Sao Paul and he began to be associated with JHSF in 1993. He originated Parkbem, the company’s parking lot management in 1997. Then in 1998 he developed the first shopping arena for the company, the Shopping Santa Cruz as he was in charge of its overall startup and development.
Aureimo Neto moved into a more aggressive and virgin territory when in 2009 he was in charge of JHSF’s move into retail in a big way. He brought on new ventures by signing the first retail partnership agreements with Pucci, Hermes, and Jimmy Choo. The first openings of these luxury brands occurred in the Cidade Jadrim Shopping Centre. Then in 2012 the first Valentino and R.E.D. Valentino stores in Brazil were introduced.
Auriemo Neto originally worked alongside his father at JHSF, as the organization had started as a family-owned operation. The first conglomerate, Parque Cidade Jardim Shopping mega-complex includes hundreds of retail stores, office blocks, residential towers, and hotels. Under the leadership of Auriemo Neto, the group has grown tremendously and has established many highlights and growth achievements in the real estate market of Brazil.
